Perhaps not the most Slytherin answer there is but it's been my life up to this point.
I mean, if I hadn't acted when I did, I would never have known more about my brother and his disappearance. Or have known much at all about the Cursed Vaults in Hogwarts.
Perhaps my Professors are less than impressed with me (and have threatened expulsion more than once) but I know this: I have to find him.
Maybe my parents are fine with his disappearance now but I'm not. They've always been distant but Jacob? He was my best friend.
I will find him.

Really?
I mean, my desired goals aren't exactly "secret". Become Head Girl and then either go into Healing or become a Potion Master...or both? Why stop at one. Every Healer needs to know their way around charms and potions, right?
Naturally finding all of the Cursed Vaults and where my brother is, are all high on that list.
Does seeing Merula get kicked out of Hogwarts count?

That's what Jacob used to call me when we were kids.
What do I need to hear? The sound of my brother's voice. I just want to know he's okay. That he's somewhere safe and not...permanently gone.
It's why I'm looking so hard to find any clue about my brother and the Cursed Vaults.
